Partnership Afghanistan (Canada) (PAC) is a Canadian non-political, non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit volunteer humanitarian organization whose core objectives are to provide services that contribute to long-term, sustainable peace and development in Afghanistan, and to undertake and manage needs assessment surveys, design of projects, monitoring, evaluation and training and improving of capacity building at the local level through community participation. PAC promotes equality and respect among all Afghans for the united and prosperous future of Afghanistan.
PAC was initially formed when enthusiastic Afghan and Non-Afghan Canadians gathered in Ottawa (Canada) for the first international conference on the reconstruction of post-war Afghanistan held immediately after 9/11. PAC was originally located in Ottawa before moving to Vancouver in 2009.
