Supporting Widows and Single Mothers
We are proud to highlight a meaningful humanitarian initiative led by Aman Nuri, dedicated PAC board member to supporting some of the most vulnerable members of Afghan society—widows and single mothers with children.
About the Initiative
This effort was created to respond to the urgent needs of families facing economic hardship and instability. Through generous donations and community support, essential aid was delivered directly to women who are courageously caring for their children under very difficult circumstances.
Who It Supports
The initiative focuses on:
- Widows who have lost their primary source of income
- Single mothers raising children on their own
- Families with limited access to basic necessities
What Was Provided
Donations were carefully organized to meet immediate needs, including:
- Food packages and basic groceries
- Essential household items
- Support to ease financial pressure on families
Each contribution was made with dignity and respect, ensuring that families felt supported, not just assisted.
Why This Matters
In many communities across Afghanistan, widows and single mothers face significant barriers to employment and access to resources. Supporting them means:
- Helping children stay nourished and healthy
- Reducing stress and hardship within the household
- Strengthening the resilience of entire communities
A Commitment to Care
This initiative reflects the power of compassion, leadership, and collective responsibility. Through the vision of Aman Noorie and the generosity of donors, we are reminded that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.
Looking Ahead
We remain committed to continuing this important work—standing beside Afghan families, uplifting women, and supporting children to grow in safer, healthier environments.
Together, we can bring hope, dignity, and support where it is needed most.
