Last April marked the successful launch of our Research Methods course for psychology students at Woman Online University in Afghanistan. The course introduces both qualitative and quantitative research methods, equipping students with essential skills to design, conduct, and analyze research in meaningful and impactful ways.
We were thrilled to welcome approximately 40 students in our initial cohort. The strong turnout, along with the high level of engagement during the introductory session, reflects a deep enthusiasm among students to develop their academic and research capacities. Interest in the course exceeded expectations, and we currently have a growing waitlist of students eager to participate in future sessions.
This program is part of our broader commitment to expanding educational access for Afghan women and girls, particularly in areas that foster critical thinking, inquiry, and independent knowledge production. Due to the overwhelming interest, we are actively working toward offering this course to additional departments in the near future, ensuring that more students can benefit from this opportunity.
